Christy has been my therapist for a while and I couldn't be happier. She has a vibe that really puts me at ease. I feel like I can talk to her easier than any other therapist I've ever seen. And she even suggested a therapy modality that had never been brought up to me before, so it was a huge relief knowing that she isn't the type of therapist that just jumps to CBT CBT CBT and only CBT.

My counselor, Christina, has helped me through some traumatic events for nearly the last two years. I'm very grateful and have seen her physical offices change a few times. She and her husband recently bought what was once a house near the central Pueblo Community Health Center, conveniently located to my own house. They have restored and converted the building into several independent practitioner offices inside. This has allowed them ample space for workshop areas and plenty of parking outside. The results, compared to previous locations, provide a safe space that's easy to find, one that is bright and clean inside, and is a welcoming environment that is a balance of professional and comfortable. The other therapists I've interacted with there have all been friendly and seem to genuinely enjoy being there! If you're searching for a therapist, either as a new ear or a replacement, I highly recommend mine. She's understanding, caring, personable, and has many approaches to handle situations. She encourages personal growth and is a great resource for recommended podcasts and books. She's incredibly open-minded and I don't think there's anything that would make her raise an eyebrow. And she's down to earth too. Sometimes we laugh our heads off and other times she'll raise the bar when I rightfully need it, challenge me to think outside the box I've put myself in, and encourage me to make changes - as needed. By creating a therapy center, she provides space for multiple counselors, each with their own styles and approaches. She's created a more permanent practice at the new Broadway location, supporting fellow therapists and clients alike. They work with insurance, sliding fee scales, and even Medicaid - which I personally appreciate! Therapy is very accessible and I encourage you to see what Evolve can do for you.
